Dr. Kenneth Matthew Young is an exceptional, exciting leader, who loves empowering people to reach their God potential. He is the third child of the late Pastor Frank M. Young and the late Mrs. Carrie Knight -Young. Dr. Young feels like he has come into his second “wind” because of the watchful eye of his parents who are now deceased.
His first public sermon “Whom To Fear,” (Luke 12: 8) was preached in 1978; immediately upon graduating from the Satsuma High School, Satsuma, AL with honors and voted most likely to succeed.
Joined the United States Army, 167th Signal Company, Intel Communication Specialist & Chaplin Assistant, Vicenza, Italy 1979-1982, Honorable Discharged. Studied at University of Maryland, European Division.

Former Adjunct Professor, Florida Southern College,(Orlando) Lakeland, FL.
He has Pastored Churches in Alabama and Florida.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from SelmaUniversity, Selma, AL, December, 1986. Biology/ Pastoral Ministry
He received his Master of Divinity Degree from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, Nashville, Tennessee, May 1990 Thesis: “models of ministry in the black christian tradition” (1990).
